Faxbeep docs

How the free fax test service at faxbeep.com behaves: test types, results, privacy, limits and messages.

Faxbeep receives test faxes, scans and Internet Faxes, and shows each one on faxbeep.com. The service is free, and you do not need an account. Faxbeep only receives: it does not send faxes. Faxbeep is a free service from the creators of PayPerFax, the original pay per fax service.

These docs say how the service behaves: what you can send, what the result shows, how long a test stays public, the limits, and the messages you can get back.

Each test is public for 30 days. Anyone can open it on faxbeep.com. Use a test page with no personal or confidential data. To remove a test sooner, see Remove a fax.

Three test types

Fax

Send a fax by phone to a test number in the US, the UK or Australia.

Scan to email

Send a scan from a printer or copier to a test email address.

Internet Fax

Send a page from the I-Fax mode of a copier.

Where to go next

• Quickstart: send a test page, find it, and check it.
• My fax does not appear: causes and what to do.
• Limits: all public limits in one table.
• Developers: read your result from a script or a CI job, with the API.
